The report Building Capacity to Advance National Adaptation Plan (NAP) Process in Pakistan is a Green Climate Fund funded project, delivered by UNEP and led by the Ministry of Climate Change and Environmental Coordination, to support multi-sectoral, medium- to long-term adaptation planning and budgeting, and to integrate climate adaptation priorities into development planning and policies. It focuses on strengthening systems for climate risk and vulnerability information, developing sustainable adaptation financing mechanisms, reviewing the latest climate projections and approaches for downscaling, and preparing national and sub-national climate risk assessments to inform NAP implementation, including at provincial level.
